CONGRATULATIONS TO ALL 2009 SCHOLARSHIP RECIPIENTS!
The United Soccer Association will be awarding Joan Judd Grants for the twentieth consecutive year, in the Spring of 2009. In the past 20 years, three hundred and ninety players have received $500.00 each, for a total of $195,000. In 2008, thirty-four players were awarded grants. These grants are awarded to recognize outstanding young women and men of the community, who are soccer players and who have plans to continue their education beyond high school. This year, we have surpassed expectations and will be awarding 43 players $750 each,for a record total of $32,250! The USA Executive Board and Joan Judd Scholarship Committee are pleased for this opportunity to "give back" to deserving students in the USA Soccer community!
